JGib!
@JGib, glad you found me! Let me know if you try this flat bread, it is amazing! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI tried this recipe as a pizza and for some reason, the crust was delicious and turned soggy. I then used some garlic butter and mozzarella cheese and realized I liked that so much better - kind of like breadsticks. Then, I used this recipe and turned them into sandwich buns using two methods - parchment paper with the dough in small rounds and a sandwich bun tray. Both turned out great. The sandwich bun tray added more crisp at the bottom. That's the only differences. I just finished a sandwich using this recipe as a bun with turkey from the local butcher shop and smoked gouda cheese toasted up. It was amazing!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I ended up using heavy cream instead of sour cream because mid-recipe, I realized I didn't have any. It still turned out great!
